After ripening our plants grown in the Central and Eastern Anatolia Region, we collect them and dry them in accordance with their technique. We grind the dried seeds. Sumak, we make from the ground fruits of a small tree that grows in Southeast Anatolia. It has a sour taste and we use it as a souring agent in kebabs and some salads.
If you want to make a perfect steak tarta a la turca(turkish cigkofte), you will need plenty of sumac.
Recommended for: Meatballs, meat, chicken, fish mealsand sausages.
